New Car
Sorry folks for the long delay, been rather busy recently, but i'm back definitely.
Well testing for the 2006 season has begun, with almost all the teams present at the Spanish circuit of Jerez, in a 5-day test. The notable absentees were Midland F1 and Super Aguri, who are still working overtime to get their cars ready for the flag-off at Bahrain in March.
Here are the top times over the 5 days of testing:
1. Pedro de la Rosa(McLaren-Mercedes)----- 1:16509
2. Rubens Barrichello(Honda)----- 1:16.732
3. Michael Schumacher(Ferrari)-----1:17.970
4. Fernando Alonso(Renault)-----1:18.512
5. Ricardo Zonta(Toyota)-----1:18.541
And Toyota have launched their 2006 car, the TF106, at the Toyota production plant in Valenciennes, France. It produces Toyota's top-selling car on the market, the Yaris. Driver Ralf Schumacher was so impressed with the facility tat he purchased a black Yaris on the spot, stunning everybody!!!

WilliamsF1 signs Wurz
Well the rumour has been confirmed, Austrian Alexander Wurz has left McLaren to become Williams' test and reserve driver for 2006. Contrary to popular belief, Wurz will be paid for his role in Williams next yr, despite claims of Williams going down under and would have to look for paying drivers to fill up the 3rd driver's slot.

Welcome 2006
Happy New Year! A very warm welcome to 2006, this can only mean 1 thing, yet another season of scintillating F1 racing is coming soon!
The F1 scene has been rather quiet during the past week, perhaps due to the festive season, but one rumour i've heard is that Williams is targeting Austrian Alexander Wurz to become their 3rd driver for 2006. Wurz might be surplus to requirements at McLaren after the Woking outfit signed DTM champion Gary Paffett as their test driver, and Williams might fancy him driving their 3rd car on Friday free practice sessions.
